At completion of the Towers in 2003 the Towers were validated as the highest in the world. The designation is however disputed.
The highest floor lies 378 meters high; the roof is at 403 meters.
Altogether the towers accommodate 78 elevators.
At 170 meters both Towers are connected with a 750 ton heavy steel bridge also known as a Skybridge. The Skybridge can be visited while the points of the Towers are not accessible to visitors.
Construction Crews processed about 37,000 tons of steel and about 32,000 windows.
The namesake of the Towers is a mineral oil company
